Member Access Guide
Below you will find answers to Frequently Asked Questions on creating an account, paying dues, accessing and printing the directory and updating your information.
How do I create an account?
- Click ‘Register’ in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- On the next screen, enter your information including name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number (optional). You can also select whether or not you would like your information to be visible in the directory by clicking ‘Yes’ under the Directory Preference bar (leave unchecked if you do not want to be listed).
- **NOTE—Your account needs to be approved before you can log-in** In order to ensure that only Flower Valley residents have access to the directory, you will need to be approved by the administrator before you can log-in (usually within 24-48 hours).
- Once your account is approved, you will receive an e-mail from the website with a link to confirm and set up your password. Please click on that link and set the password to whatever you choose.
- Use your username (your email address) and password to log-in at www.thefvca.com/login and access all of the website’s features including the directory and the online payment portal.
- If you have any trouble creating an account, we will create one for you. Simply send us an email with your name, email address, mailing address and directory preference to boardfvca@gmail.com.
What do I do if I already have an account but forgot my password?
- Go to www.thefvca.com/login/?v=f. If you forgot your password, enter your email address and hit the ‘Submit’ button. The system will send you an email to reset your password to whatever you would like.
- If that does not work, the easiest thing to do is email us at boardfvca@gmail.com and we can reset your password for you.
How do I pay my FVCA dues online?
- Once you have created an account and logged in, select ‘Membership Drive’ on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Select ‘2022-23 Annual Membership Dues’ and the system will walk you through the steps to paying via credit card. It’s that easy!
I paid my dues via check—do I have an account?
- Probably! If you paid your dues via check but provided an email address on your information sheet, an account was likely created for you and you should have received an e-mail from the website with a link to set your password. If you did not get an email, reach out to us at boardfvca@gmail.com.
I’m logged in—how do I access the directory?
- It’s easy—click the ‘Directory’ option on the menu bar on the left-hand side of the screen. You will then have access to all of the information that neighbors have given permission to share.
- To see an individual’s contact information, click the ‘View’ option to the left of their name.
- The directory defaults to listing members in alphabetical order by last name. You can also sort by mailing address. If you are looking for a specific person, you can enter their first or last name using the ‘Search Directory’ feature at the top.
- If you would like to filter the directory, you have that option as well. For example, if you are looking for only those who live on your street, Select Address, then Contains, enter your street name into the blank box and hit ‘Filter’.
I have an account but I am not listed in the directory—how do I get my information to appear?
- Most likely, you did not give permission for your information to appear but it is easy to change that. Once you are logged in, in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, click on ‘Your Profile’.
- Select the ‘Update Directory Preferences’ and make sure that the ‘Yes’ box under Your Directory Preferences is set to Yes. Your information should appear in the Directory.
How do I print a copy of the directory?
- Once you are logged in, click the ‘Directory’ option on the menu bar on the left-hand side of the screen.
- At the top right of the online Directory, click on ‘Printer Friendly’.
- The system will create a print-friendly version of the directory to send to your printer.
Is there a way to have a printed copy delivered to me?
- Absolutely! If you would like a copy printed and delivered to you, e-mail us at boardfvca@gmail.com.
How else can I stay updated on what is happening in the neighborhood?
